Dr. Eddy Mydouangchanh

Licensed Doctor of Chiropractic

Hello! I’m Dr Eddy. At Alameda Family Chiropractic, we’re committed to helping you live your best life, free of pain, through natural chiropractic and wellness care solutions. My goal is to set you up for a lifetime of optimal health no matter what your situation is, from automobile injuries to simple routine wellness care.

I take the time to listen to you and figure out what’s going on with your body, and I use a combination of deep tissue massage with spinal adjustments which produces dramatic results in improving spinal structure and nerve function. When appropriate, I also address your nutritional needs, dietary changes, postural training, rehabilitation, and stress management.

I believe in promoting better healing by eating a balanced and nutritious diet and emphasizing rehabilitation and exercise to protect the body from further injury and damage.

Dr. Allison Guyn

Licensed Doctor of Chiropractic

Hello, I’m Dr. Allison! I received my undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota in 2013, with a major in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences. I then started working as a health plan specialist at a medical insurance company, while considering my options for the future. I come from a medical background, with my father being a family practice MD, and my mother being a nurse (as well as just receiving her doctorate in clinical sexology). The combination of the medical background, and also my love for dance, running, and the human body pushed me to switch paths towards chiropractic.

I then attended University of Western States and received my doctorate of chiropractic, from which I graduated in December 2018. I take particular interest in the TMJ, extremity adjusting, traction, headaches, postural breathing, and clinical pain psychology. My approach is gentle, yet effective diversified manipulation, soft tissue work, and educating my patients on enhanced long term posture.

In my free time, I love to cook, dance, workout, play ukulele, sing karaoke and watch great movies!

I am available for appointments M-F from 9AM-5PM. To make an appointment call 503 249 0114, or schedule one online. Can’t wait to meet you!

Cecily Richey

Licensed Massage Therapist

Hello! My name is Cici! I received my license 8 years ago from Anthem College. I’ve worked for spa’s and as independent contractor, but my love lies with the medical and natural healing. I chose to work with a chiropractor because I love helping the body heal. My techniques include therapeutic, Swedish, deep tissue, cranial sacral, reflexology, and trigger point therapy.

Massage has helped me become more aware of my body through anatomy, physiology, feel and touch. It has helped me get in tune with the energies and changed my lifestyle to a healthier lifestyle and I hope to help you as well.

What You Can Expect

Your first visit to our chiropractic office begins with a thorough history and examination that helps us understand your health concerns and problems. Each patient is like a jigsaw puzzle. Some puzzles are quite simple — just a few pieces that reveal a simple problem and a very straightforward solution. Some puzzles are more complex — 500 pieces, 1500 pieces — and may take longer to reveal the problem that we seek to understand and remedy.

Regardless of the size and complexity of your unique “puzzle,” we will work together as a team to discover the cause of your pain or discomfort and to create an effective treatment plan.

Treatments

Our treatments are thoughtful and comprehensive. We begin with comfortable and effective pre-adjustment physiotherapies such as electro muscle stimulation, Leander table stretching, moist heat, and myofascial massage to prepare you for gentle manual adjustments and/or ArthroStim percussive adjustments.

AquaMed Hydrotherapy

All treatments lead to a delightful and therapeutic rest on my AquaMed Hydrotherapy Massage Table, a heavenly piece of therapy equipment that my patients consider the ultimate ‘treat’ at the end of each visit. It is the only one of its kind in any Oregon chiropractic office.

Some of the many benefits of AquaMed hydrotherapy are:
•  Relaxes and tones muscles
•  Increases circulation
•   Reduces pain by increasing endorphins
•  Reduces inflammation
•  Reduces swelling by increasing lymphatic circulation
•  Calms post-injury “fight or flight” stress reaction
